Evidence of the ability to

utilise knowledge and interpretation of advanced tactics and strategies of golf and relevant rules regulations and policies of golf to develop and follow game plans apply advanced tactics and strategies in competitive situations and analyse own performance

determine own psychological approaches and prepare to apply tactics and strategies accordingly

communicate with colleagues coach or PGA mentor officials and support staff throughout activities and games and respond to feedback

monitor own performance during rounds and modify tactics and strategies to address identified issues

review own performance to identify strengths and areas requiring improvement and or modifications

Context of and specific resources for assessment

Assessment must ensure

performance of the advanced tactics and strategies of golf applicable to agreed plan to achieve a handicap of or better for males and or better for females under competition conditions over a minimum of five rounds on a minimum of three hole golf courses

Assessment must also ensure access to

golf training and competition facilities

a coach with a minimum National Coaching Accreditation Scheme NCAS Level III accreditation or PGA mentor to instruct athletes

suitably qualified golfing officials and support staff

technological aids and equipment

resources and information outlining the advanced tactics and strategies of golf

rules and regulations of golf current legislation and organisational policies and procedures that impact on the conduct of drills activities games and competitions
